AZURE BLOB PULL IN. AMAZON S3 OUT. NO SCRIPTS.

Move files from Azure Blob Storage to your S3 bucket

DocEvent polls a folder in your standard (flat) Azure Blob container on a schedule and delivers each new file into your Amazon S3 or S3-compatible bucket. Azure-to-S3 transfer with no Event Grid, no scripts and a full audit trail.

How Azure Blob Pull to Amazon S3 routing works

Source

Azure Blob

DocEvent checks a folder in your Azure Blob container on a schedule and collects new files. Works with standard (flat) storage accounts.
DocEvent Channel
routes · retries · logs
Destination

Amazon S3

Files are delivered into your Amazon S3 or S3-compatible bucket - Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi and more.
1

File arrives via Azure Blob Pull

Scheduled polling of a standard Azure Blob Storage container using the storage account name and access key — the flat namespace, which is what a storage account has unless the hierarchical namespace was enabled at creation. Collects from a folder (prefix) with filename pattern filtering, then each collected file is deleted or copied to an archive prefix and removed. For hierarchical-namespace accounts use the Azure Data Lake source instead.
2

Channel routes it

DocEvent's channel server matches the incoming file to your configured route, queues it for delivery, and ensures no file is ever lost — even during downstream outages.
3

Delivered to Amazon S3

Delivery into any bucket that speaks the S3 API - Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Supabase Storage and friends (custom endpoint URL and path-style addressing supported). Authenticate with an access key, or on Amazon S3 let DocEvent assume an IAM role in your account so no long-lived credentials change hands. Configurable key prefix, and a built-in connection test that verifies the bucket, credentials and permissions before the first file flows.

Common use cases

Real workflows that teams automate with a Azure Blob Pull Amazon S3 channel.
  • Bridge Azure application output into an S3-based platform
  • Collect partner drops from a Blob container into your own S3
  • Migrate from Azure Blob to S3 while both stay live
  • Cross-cloud delivery with no Event Grid or transfer tooling
The two ends don't have to be the same company — invite a customer or trading partner into the channel and they run the Azure Blob Pull or Amazon S3 side under their own account, with their own credentials. Learn how shared channels work.
