FTP as a Service

DocEvent is fully managed FTP as a Service — hosted SFTP, FTPS and FTP on top of your own cloud storage. No servers to run and no infrastructure to patch. Connect an Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage or S3-compatible bucket and give your customers secure FTP access in minutes.

What is FTP as a Service?

FTP as a Service — also called cloud FTP or hosted FTP — means running your FTP endpoint as a managed cloud service instead of maintaining your own FTP server. DocEvent provides the SFTP/FTPS/FTP front-end, user accounts, firewall and audit logging as a service, while your files live in a cloud storage bucket you already own.
There is no instance to size, no operating system to keep patched and no storage to provision — you connect a bucket, add users, and your cloud FTP service is live.

Why run FTP as a Service

Nothing to run

There is no FTP server to provision, patch or scale. DocEvent runs the SFTP/FTPS/FTP front-end as a service while your files stay in your own cloud storage bucket.

Secure by default

SSH-key and password auth, a per-service IP whitelist/blacklist firewall, and TLS on every connection. Your data never lives on our servers.

Per-user accounts & audit trail

Create a user per customer, see exactly which commands ran and when, and restore or reprocess any file from the dashboard.

You focus on integration,
we'll focus on delivery.
